A Day to Remember on the Mountain: June 21, 2025

June 21, 2025, was one of the most vibrant and Spirit-filled days we’ve ever experienced here at Laurel Mountain Ministries. From sunrise to sunset, the Mountain was alive with worship, fellowship, and joyful celebration as multiple ministries gathered to glorify God in their own unique ways. It was a day that reflected the very heartbeat of this ministry, unity in Christ and transformation through His presence.

Seven Baptisms and New Life in Christ

At the center of it all was the beautiful testimony of new life. Seven people were baptized in the cross-shaped pool on the Mountain, publicly declaring their faith in Jesus Christ. Among them were three individuals from our recent Spring Bible Study series, When You Lose, You Whin: The Divine Exchange. These believers journeyed through Scripture with us over several weeks and chose to take the next step in their walk with Christ by being baptized in the same place where they had encountered Him in a deeper way. Witnessing their commitment was a blessed moment for all in attendance.

Gethsemane Church of Pottstown: Fellowship and Worship

Earlier that day, we welcomed Gethsemane Church of Pottstown as they took over the pavilion for a joyful time of food, fellowship, and faith. Their congregation filled the Mountain with laughter, food, fun, praise, and heartfelt worship. They joined in the baptism with their own service earlier in the day as part of their picnic, bringing an added sense of celebration to the day. It was a beautiful reminder that spiritual milestones are often best marked in community, surrounded by those who walk with us.

Iglesia Monte de los Olivos: Youth in the Chapel

Later in the afternoon, the chapel came alive as Iglesia Monte de los Olivos hosted a powerful youth gathering. From 3:00 to 7:00, the young people fellowshipped, prayed, and prepared to lead a special service. At 7:00 PM, they transitioned into a dynamic worship experience led entirely by teens and young adults. The energy, passion, and sincere hunger for God’s presence filled the chapel and overflowed into the evening.

A Tapestry of Ministry

June 21 wasn’t just a day on the calendar—it was a living picture of what happens when the body of Christ comes together across languages, ages, and traditions. Baptisms. Picnics. Youth gatherings. Worship in English and Spanish. All of it happening in one day, on one Mountain, for one purpose: to lift high the name of Jesus.
