Recreation On The Mountain

There is always something to do on the Mountain.

Picnicking

It’s always fun to picnic. Free picnicking is available most days. The Laurel Mountain Ministries Campus has a pavilion to picnic under and, also has tables scattered among the groves of trees for your relaxation.

To reserve the entire picnic area for an entire day including the Disc Golf Course and the Sand Volley Court, call or email Gail at (484) 366-7042 or info@laurelmountainministries.org. A love gift is requested when reserving the entire picnic area. Please remember to clean up after yourself and use the trash cans placed across the property.

Disc Golf Course

Disc Golf is a popular family sport. We maintain a nine-hole course on the Mountain. The standards are portable and sometimes get moved for variety or if an event is planned. Regardless, disc on the Mountain.

We love disc golf tournaments! Call or email Gail at the number above if you plan a disc golf takeover. Individuals and small groups may play disc golf at no cost from dusk to dawn weather permitting. A love gift is required for a disc golf takeover.

Sand Volleyball Court

Volleyball is a game in which everyone can participate. Laurel Mountain Ministries recently restored its volleyball court near the picnic area. Groups can play for fun while they picnic or at outdoor family events. In 2022, you and your church team can join us for a league or a tournament.

Photography

Photo opportunities abound on the Mountain. Arrive early and grab a candid of the wild turnkeys in the parking lot. Sit quietly at dusk and watch the white-tailed deer romp is the fields. Between dusk and dawn take pictures of the Crosses of Calvary or stroll through the woods and snap photographs of the wild animals and plants. It’s up to you.
