Grief can leave us searching for the right words when sometimes the most important thing we can do is simply show up.

In the second episode of our series on grief, The Mountain Top Experience Podcast leaves the studio for our first-ever episode recorded live with an audience. Hosts Carlos DeJesus, Kevin Ostromecki, and Dave Johnson are joined by Randy Doaty for a panel discussion recorded under the Tent Revival Tent at Laurel Mountain Ministries.

Randy initially received grief ministry training through GriefShare and now provides grief training at Morning Star Fellowship. Drawing from that experience, Randy joins Carlos, Kevin, and Dave for an open conversation about grief, loss, and how we walk alongside people who are hurting.

Sometimes helping isn’t about having an answer, explaining the loss, or finding the perfect thing to say. Sometimes it’s knowing when to show up and shut up.

A note about the audio: This episode was recorded live through the PA system rather than in our podcast studio, so the sound is different from our regular studio episodes. It captures our first experience recording The Mountain Top Experience with a live audience under the Tent Revival Tent.
