SonRise Over Laurel Mountain is the Ministry’s annual outdoor community Easter Sunrise Service. The service begins at 7:00 a.m. near the foot of the Crosses of Calvary on the Mountain. It ends promptly at 8:00 a.m. so you can attend your home church’s Easter festivities.

Don’t worry about being hungry after SonRise. You and your family are invited to join the Laurel Mountain Ministries family for a FREE BREAKFAST SANDWICH, juice, and coffee. Eat it with us or take it with you. Click HERE to email your free breakfast reservation(s).

SonRise Over Laurel Mountain is a rain or shine event. In case of inclement weather, the service moves to the chapel.

About the Speaker

This year, Pastor Dave Johnson, a founder of Laurel Mountain Ministries and the present Executive Director, will be the speaker. The message titled, “The Living and the Dead,” is Easter Inspiration with a twist.

Pastor Dave graduated from the University of Valley Forge (formerly Valley Forge Christian College), Ridgedale Theological Seminary, and Appalachian School of Law. His ministry experience includes, pastor, speaker, musician, camp director, and now Executive Director of Laurel Mountain Ministries. Additionally, he practiced law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and works as a licensed Real Estate Broker.
