Bonfire on the Mountain

Whether it’s after a movie or following a tent revival meeting, people love Bonfires on the Mountain. Accordingly, this season’s first Bonfire on the Mountain is on May 6, 2023 beginning at 7:00. (You can come early and play volleyball, disc golf, or horse shoes.)

May’s bonfire will be simple and fun. Young people and families of all ages (you decide if you are a young person) gather around the fire pit next to the pavilion to play games, win prizes, eat hotdogs and marshmallows, sing, laugh, and encourage each other in Jesus Name. It’s going to be a great evening.

The Bonfire on the Mountain is hosted by Carlos DeJesus and James Civil

What to Bring

• A lawn chair or blanket to sit on around the fire.
• Warm clothes. It could be cool on the Mountain in early May.
• A good word.

About Carlos DeJesus

Carlos (Gideon) DeJesus loves the Lord and is a student of the Word of God. During the the past two years Carlos hosted various events youth events on Laurel Mountain including weekend retreats and Movie on the Mountain. Carlos’ ministry is thoughtful and honest. Laurel Mountain Ministries looks forward to ministering with him this season.

About James Civil

Pastor James is the founder of Companions in Christ of Pennsylvania.   He believes that CICOPS “… exist to connect people to Jesus and each other.” Companions In Christ of Pennsylvania (CICOP) is a non-profit organization that was created to serve others mentally, financially and \spiritually. Their mission is to increase Spiritual Unity rather than competition and diviision.
