The Chapel stage is large enough for a small band, yet small enough that a party of four or five won’t get lost. The Chapel also provides all the amenities available at a modern wedding venue, four season climate control, sound, and adjustable lighting. Parking is plentiful.
The Chapel may be reserved 365 days a year on a first come, first served basis.
At the Foot of the Cross
For believers in Jesus, Calvary’s Crosses on the Mountain provides a memorable outdoor setting like no other. Make your grand entrance as your guests stand and you step towards the hardscaped crosses profiled on the side of the hill. The minister meets you at the foot of the crosses and your ceremony begins.
The symbolism is obvious and the scene dramatic. Your guests hear and see your testimony. There can be no doubt. All attending will know that the foundation of your marriage is your love for each other and your shared love for your Lord and Savior.
Your photographic and video remembrances will be spectacular.
The landscaping enables you to design a personal wedding backdrop the way you want it, open air, arbors, flowers, or simply rely on the Crosses’ hardscape and grassy fields for beauty. Just like with the Chapel, design it the way you want. It’s your day and your lifetime memory.
At the Crosses of Calvary, you can comfortably seat 150 guests. An optional tent is available. Calvary’s Crosses on the Mountain is a three season venue and is subject to changes in the weather.
Informal Venues
If you and your friends prefer a more casual wedding, consider a ceremony under our pavilion, perhaps in a field overlooking the valley, around a bonfire, or even in a clearing in the woods. Talk to one of our staff. The possibilities are endless.
Officiant
Laurel Mountain Ministries believes that your choice of officiant adds to the special experience of your wedding. Laurel Mountain Ministries encourages pastors and judges who are authorized to perform marriages in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to join couples on the Mountain. If your chosen pastor isn’t from the area, with sufficient notice, our staff can help upgrade your minister’s Credentials to perform weddings in Berks County, Pennsylvania.
If you don’t have a pastor, Laurel Mountain Ministries can provide an experienced ordained clergyman to officiate your ceremony. Ask your wedding coordinator for details.
Receptions and More
No wedding day is complete without food and entertainment. A Laurel Mountain wedding coordinator can help you plan a reception on the Mountain or recommend another venue that may fit your individual needs.
