DESCRIPTION:Spring Bible Study on the Mountain\nMiss Gail hosts the Laurel Mountain Ministries Spring Bible Study on the Mountain in the Campus Chapel Meeting Room. Every Tuesday evening the doors open about 6:45 for Fellowship Time. (You make lots of friends on the Mountain.) Study Time begins about 7:15. Join the diverse group of people studying and sharing the scriptures. \nThis Spring\, the focus of the study are the 36 New Testament Parables of Jesus. Miss Gail will begin the study but other teachers will be invited to share on different weeks throughout the study. \nThe Bible Study on the Mountain is held every Tuesday evening until mid-May unless cancelled for inclement weather or holiday. \nAbout Gail Johnson (Miss Gail)\n\nGail (Miss Gail) Johnson graduated The Universtiy of Valley Forge (formerly Valley Forge Christian College) with a degree in Bible. Her experience as a youth worker\, shared pastoring\, and shared youth camp directorship with her husband Dave equips her to present a Bible Study that informs\, inspires\, and is directed towards changing lives.

DESCRIPTION:Bonfire on the Mountain\nWhether it’s after a movie or following a tent revival meeting\, people love Bonfires on the Mountain. Accordingly\, this season’s first Bonfire on the Mountain is on May 6\, 2023 beginning at 7:00. (You can come early and play volleyball\, disc golf\, or horse shoes.) \nMay’s bonfire will be simple and fun. Young people and families of all ages (you decide if you are a young person) gather around the fire pit next to the pavilion to play games\, win prizes\, eat hotdogs and marshmallows\, sing\, laugh\, and encourage each other in Jesus Name. It’s going to be a great evening. \nThe Bonfire on the Mountain is hosted by Carlos DeJesus and James Civil \nBest of all\, its FREE!\n \nWhat to Bring\n\nA lawn chair or blanket to sit on around the fire.\nWarm clothes. It could be cool on the Mountain in early May.\nA good word.\n\nAbout Carlos DeJesus\nCarlos (Gideon) DeJesus loves the Lord and is a student of the Word of God. During the the past two years Carlos hosted various events youth events on Laurel Mountain including weekend retreats and Movie on the Mountain. Carlos’ ministry is thoughtful and honest. Laurel Mountain Ministries looks forward to ministering with him this season. \nAbout James Civil\nPastor James is the founder of Companions in Christ of Pennsylvania.   He believes that CICOPS “… exist to connect people to Jesus and each other.” Companions In Christ of Pennsylvania (CICOP) is a non-profit organization that was created to serve others mentally\, financially and \spiritually. Miss Gail will begin the study but other teachers will be invited to share on different weeks throughout the study. \nThe Bible Study on the Mountain is held every Tuesday evening until mid-May unless cancelled for inclement weather or holiday. \nAbout Gail Johnson (Miss Gail)\n\nGail (Miss Gail) Johnson graduated The Universtiy of Valley Forge (formerly Valley Forge Christian College) with a degree in Bible. Her experience as a youth worker\, shared pastoring\, and shared youth camp directorship with her husband Dave equips her to present a Bible Study that informs\, inspires\, and is directed towards changing lives. \nThe Held Brothers & Friends on the Mountain\nJeff and Doug Held and their musician friends bring their special brand of worship\, praise\, and prayer to the Mountain to those who need refreshing and renewal. The Held Brothers ministry on the Mountain will be casual and focused on the needs of those present. If you have a need\, bring it to the Chapel this Tuesday evening. \n \nAbout the Held Brothers & Friends\nJeff and Doug Held’s God given gift is leading praise and worship. And\, for the last twenty (20) years\, they shared that gift throughout Southeast Pennsylvania. Sometimes they minister as worship leaders for specific congregations. (Presently they minister regularly at Freedom Church in West Reading.) Other times\, they are itinerate musicians and ministers sharing the gospel how God blessed them. \nAlong the way\, they gathered a group of fellow believers and musicians who love the Lord and who love praising their God with music. Each time the Held Brother minister on the Mountain\, they will bring a unique combination of musicians assembled just for that evening. No two worship events will be the same. You won’t get bored. \nDon’t miss this worship and study time on the Mountain.
