DESCRIPTION:Ashes to Beauty Outreach Takes Over the Mountain\nAshes to Beauty Outreach of Reading\, PA takes over the Mountain for an afternoon of ministry and fellowship during the afternoon of August 11\, 2024. \n \nWater Baptism\nUsing the beautiful Laurel Mountain Ministries cross-shaped baptismal pool\, Pastor Yolanda will baptize her latest converts. Today those young believers will make an outward declaration of the inner change in their lives. Water baptism\, especially on the Mountain\, is beautiful and moving ordinance. \n \nPicnic and Baby Shower\nAfter the water baptism\, the Ashes to Beauty Outreach will move to the Campus Pavilion to enjoy a picnic and baby shower. \n \nThe Ashes to Beauty Outreach Story – In Pastor Yolli’s own words.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nYolanda Williams\, Founder\n\n\nIn 2011\, God delivered me from drug addiction\, mental illness\, homelessness and brokenness. For me that was my from Ashes to Beauty.. “hence the name of my ministry. When I consider where I was then and where I am today\, I now know that God delivered me. At the same time I knew it was God’s purpose to deliver every one of His children from anything that is keeping him/her away from Jesus. To each who is willing\, the promise is true\, “from Ashes to Beauty”. \n\n\nI truly believe that God has given me a heart for  people\, who are lost in darkness and bondage\, as I feel and know the pain they are experiencing. \nToday\, my desire is to impact women with my hunger to become intentional in the Word of God that they may walk in the fullness of who God intended them to be. \nBiblical Base: “The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me\, because the LORD has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted\, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners\, to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God\, to comfort all who mourn\, and provide for those who grieve in Zion– to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes\, the oil of joy instead of mourning\, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness\, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor.” \nIsaiah 61:1-3
