This service will be entirely youth-led—complete with heartfelt worship\, dynamic teaching\, and meaningful moments tailored to their generation\, supported by the leadership of Iglesia Monte de los Olivos. \n\nAbout Iglesia Monte de los Olivos\nIglesia Cristiana Pentecoste Monte de los Olivos has been a spiritual pillar in Northeast Reading since 2009. DESCRIPTION:SONRISE OVER LAUREL MOUNTAIN 2025: AN OUTDOOR COMMUNITY EASTER SUNRISE SERVICE\nAt 7:00 a.m. on Sunday\, April 20\, 2025\, members of Berks and Montgomery Counties’ community will gather outdoors\, under an empty cross for Sonrise Over Laurel Mountain\, Easter Sunrise Service to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Every year worshipers of all ages\, races\, and backgrounds gather in unity to celebrate\, worship\, and pray as the sun peeks over the nearby hills. \nThe interdenominational Easter Sunrise Service is an annual event\, now in its fifth year\, is hosted by Laurel Mountain Ministries of Boyertown\, Pennsylvania. The outdoor service\, originally organized as a way for the community to safely worship together in the aftermath of the COVID Pandemic\, grew into an exciting annual event drawing worshippers from as far away as Reading and Souderton. \nThe service is held rain or shine. If the weather threatens the musical instruments or if they can’t be kept in tune because of temperature\, the musical worship will be held in the campus chapel. At its conclusion\, attendees walk across the lawn and gather under the empty Crosses of Calvary on Laurel Mountain for the message. \n \nThis year\, Chaplain Mark Malizzi\, Laurel Mountain Ministries’ Director of Ministries is the featured speaker. When asked about the theme of the service\, Chaplain Mark stated that his focus will be directly from the scripture\, “Why seek the living among the dead.” \nAgain this year\, Heaven’s Thunder Band\, a 2025 nominee for Best Christian Artist/Band by the Central Pennsylvania Music Awards\, will lead the contemporary early morning worship on the Mountain. The team spokesman told us that they “always enjoys participating in special moments on the Mountain\, especially when the Holy Spirit meets us personally.” \nLaurel Mountain Ministries invites you to celebrate resurrection with us. Worship with the community. Be inspired by the Word of God. On Spring Clean Up Day on the Mountain\, we’re calling on volunteers to help us clean up the grounds and get everything ready for the months ahead. Winter can leave behind fallen branches\, scattered leaves\, rocks\, and a lot of debris\, and we need your help to restore the campus to its best. \nTasks will include clearing fallen branches\, raking up leaves\, removing rocks from pathways\, and touching up areas with fresh paint. We’ll also focus on general outdoor maintenance to ensure everything is clean\, safe\, and welcoming for our guests this summer. \nWhether you’re a seasoned volunteer or new to the community\, your efforts will make a huge difference in getting the space ready for all the exciting ministry activities ahead. It’s a great opportunity to meet others\, enjoy the fresh spring air\, and contribute to the beauty of our campus. \nBring your gloves\, a hat\, and a heart full of service! Come\, enjoy\, be refreshed\, make new Christian friends\, have great fun while learning\, praying\, and praising the Lord together in love and power. \nBring a picnic lunch\, dinner is included. \nABOUT JULIE STEVENSON\nJulie and her husband\, Adam\, hail from Fleetwood Pennsylvania. They call their home “Faithplace Farm” because it tested their faith to purchase it and it takes even more faith to keep it. It’s the kind of faith that  inspired Julie’s her first book. Faithplace Farm is a place of ministry where the Gifts of the Spirit and the calling of God is manifested regularly by hosting several faith groups and a variety of inspirational events. Bible studies and Water Baptisms are weekly occurrences at Faithplace. \nJulie is a music teacher and a worship leader. Her friends consider her an entertaining educator\, retreat leader. and camp counselor. More importantly\, she identifies as a “Born again\, Spirit-filled\, friend of God.” She believes that her fundamental service is praying blessings upon the body of Christ\, to advance His Kingdom. and minister to the needs of others. \nRecently\, Julie graduated from Jerusalem Prophecy College with a degree in Advanced Studies. As she waits and watches for the eminent return of Christ\, Julie continues to search the scriptures with joy and expectation.
